Bill "The Enforcer"

My first relevant experience in the art field was in 1978. I worked for 4 years at a small book and periodical publisher. While there I did book and magazine layout, design, illustration, print ads, and manuals.

I then worked for several years in the newspaper business (The Bulletin, in Bend,OR; The Daily News in Longview,WA; The Oregonian) where I created illustrations and editorial graphics.

Since 1990, I have been specializing in historical and natural history art for museums, interpretive centers, aquariums and zoos nationwide.

I have been under contract as region 5 artist for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for over 12 years.

I am also under contract with the National Park Service Southeast Region for artistic illustration of historic and cultural events.

On December 21, 2009, I was selected as an Associate Designer for the U.S. Mint where I will be designing coins and medals.
